Professor Abdoulaye Diagne is the director of the Consortium for Social and Economic Research (CRES) in Dakar. He was also a consultant to the Commission of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) and the Community Development Programme. Professor Diagne is well known for his work on education and economic growth. He has written many books and over two dozen articles.
