Dr. Rebecca Hanlin is Innovation and Development Specialist for AfricaLics based at African Centre for Technology Studies in Nairobi. Rebecca is also Senior Lecturer in Development Policy and Practice at the Open University where she teaches international development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and continues to supervise PhD students.

Rebecca has over 15 years of experience working and researching in Africa especially, Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania. Rebecca’s work is in the area of innovation and development with a specific focus on innovation and its implications for pro-poor growth.
